Intermission Respite Care, Inc

A Non Medical Service

What Drives Us?

Research has shown that Respite care in rural Iowa and South Dakota is hard to find.  We have personal experience with providing 24/7 care for a loved one in our home.  Even though we have a medical background we were overwhelmed at times.  It was impossible to find someone to stay with our loved one so we could go to appointments, enjoy a day out or go on vacation.  Caregiver strain can happen to even the most experienced individuals.

Mission Statement

To provide compassionate care for Clients while supporting the Client's highest level of functioning and independence in their home.  To support the Client's Caregiver(s) with safe and dependable respite services.
